Prime Function:
\n- \n
- Manage the implementation and maintenance of information systems, data processing systems and procedures for the hotel that includes databases, network administration, applications programming, web design and user support systems. \n
- Interface and coordinate with external clients to meet IS objectives. \n
- Analyze user needs and establish procedures for the information systems. \n
Key Responsibilities:
\nInformation Systems Planning
\n- \n
- Ensure to evaluate user needs and system functionality. \n
- Ensure that all Software Licenses and laws are adhered to. \n
- Plan, direct and control all day-to-day information systems functions. \n
- Plan and approve equipment and software purchases related to systems (operating systems, related software, storage devices, etc.). \n
People Management
\n- \n
- Establish and maintain seamless co-ordination & co-operation with all departments of the hotel to ensure maximum cooperation, productivity, morale and guest service. \n
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with all the departments. \n
- Respond to queries by resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner. \n
- Ensure that the team has been trained for all safety provisions. \n
- Ensure that all personnel are kept well informed of department’s objectives and policies. \n
- Motivate and develop team to ensure smooth functioning of the department and promote teamwork. \n
Financial Management
\n- \n
- Prepare operational reports and analyze new trends. \n
- Identify optimal, cost effective use of the resources and educate the team on the same. \n
- Determine fiscal and physical requirements for all the departments of the hotel prepare budgetary recommendations. \n
- Conduct periodic and annual inventory audits of the equipment & recommend replacement of equipment as required \n
Operational Management
\n- \n
- Direct and coordinate database management, network administration and user support services \n
- Liaise with external agencies and equipment manufacturers to ensure effective management of the department. \n
- Ensure the smooth running of all systems, printer, anti-virus software, and e-mail facilities. \n
- Ensure to approve and recommend technology equipment and software as per the requirements. \n
- To assign duties, inspect work, and investigate complaints regarding service and equipment and hence take corrective action. \n
- Coordinate operations with Department Coordinators, Supervisors and other Departmental Managers to ensure operational readiness, efficiency in resource utilization and the prompt delivery of services. \n

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field \n
- 3-5 years of experience in IT or a similar role \n
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, network administration, and cybersecurity \n
- Excellent project management and problem-solving skills \n
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills \n
- Proficiency in time management and prioritization \n
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment \n
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills \n
- Strong knowledge of PMS (Opera), POS, Wi-Fi networks, and guest-facing technologies such as digital key systems. \n
- Skilled at diagnosing and resolving critical IT issues quickly to minimize service disruption. \n
- Experienced in managing IT vendors, negotiating contracts, and maintaining asset inventories to optimize performance and costs. \n
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken, to effectively engage with staff, guests, and external partners. \n
