Shift Incharge - Warehouse
Job Description
What you ll do :
\nManaging and overseeing teams in shifts taking care of receiving, handling, GRN processing, put away, picking, line issuance, scrap movement, return of rejected materials to vendors and parts issuance for subcontracted assembly parts, proto/ trial requirements and aftermarket requirements.
\nTrain and manage the warehouse support team members to solve day-to-day operational issues.
\nWork closely with operations team in achieving Warehouse Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
\nRoot Cause analysis for deviation in KPIs and fixing the issues with corrective & preventive actions
\nMaintaining necessary Management Information Systems (MIS) for better visibility
\nCoach and train zone leaders to ensure adherence to SOPs by all team members
\nResource Planning & Rooster management for daily shift operations and attendance tracking
\nTeam engagement activities to keep up employee morale and recognising good performance
\nMaintain overall 5S and safety requirements across warehouse
\nEngage in new projects/ initiatives and ensure sustenance of those initiatives through regular review and feedback
\nHere s what we are looking for :
\n4-6 Years of experience in warehouse functions and team management.
\nDecent knowledge of SAP WM module and applications of MIS systems
\nGood Interpersonal & communication skills
\nGood Problem solving skills using Lean problem solving techniques like 8D, Fishbone, etc.
\nBasic knowledge of Lean principles
