Job Description
\n\nKey responsibilities
\n Quality Strategy & Governance
\n · Develop and implement the organization-wide Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001 and industry standards.
\n · Establish quality policies, procedures, SOPs, and inspection protocols for EPC power projects.
\n · Drive quality assurance and quality control frameworks across project lifecycle.Project Quality Management
\n · Ensure compliance with technical specifications, drawings, BOQ, and contractual quality requirements.
\n · Monitor quality performance across transmission line, substation, and power infrastructure projects.
\n · Implement Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and Quality Plans.
\n Vendor & Material Quality
\n · Lead vendor qualification, audits, and material quality approvals.
\n · Ensure incoming material inspection and certification compliance.
\n · Manage quality control for critical materials such as conductors, transformers, towers, cables, insulators, etc.
\n Audits & Continuous Improvement
\n · Conduct internal quality audits and site inspections.
\n · Lead client audits, third-party inspections, and certification audits.
\n · Drive root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
\n Documentation & Compliance
\n · Ensure proper quality documentation, project dossiers, and handover documentation.
\n · Monitor compliance with client specifications, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.
\n Safety Strategy & Compliance
\n · Develop and implement Health & Safety policies and systems aligned with ISO 45001 and statutory requirements.
\n · Promote a strong safety culture across all project sites.
\n Site Safety Management
\n · Ensure implementation of site safety plans, risk assessments, and permit systems.
\n · Monitor compliance with PPE, working at height safety, electrical safety, and equipment safety.
\n Incident Prevention & Investigation
\n · Lead incident investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
\n · Drive zero-harm safety culture and hazard reporting.
\n Safety Training & Awareness
\n · Conduct safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
\n · Ensure contractor and workforce safety competency.
\n Leadership Responsibilities
\n · Lead and mentor the central Quality and Safety teams.
\n · Coordinate with Projects, Engineering, Procurement, and Construction teams.
\n · Support project teams in resolving quality and safety issues.
\n · Develop quality and safety KPIs and reporting dashboards.
The Successful Applicant
\n\nA successful Head QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety & Environment) should have:
Qualifications & Skills set
\n · Bachelor's degree in engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil)
\n · Master's degree preferred (Engineering / Quality / Operations Management)
\n · Certifications (Preferred) - ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, ISO 45001 Lead Auditor, NEBOSH / IOSH / Safety Certification, Six Sigma / Quality Management Certification
\n · 18-25 years of experience in Infrastructure / Power / EPC industry
\n · Minimum 8-10 years in leadership roles in Quality or QHSE
\n · Strong experience in Transmission Lines, Substations, or Power EPC projectsPersonal Competencies

\n · Leadership and decision-making ability
\n · High integrity and compliance orientation
\n · Effective communication and stakeholder managementWork environment
\n · This position may require occasional travel to project sites, client meetings, and conferences,
