What you’ll be doing:

Meet with business stakeholders and other technical team members to gather, analyze and translate development requirements.
\n - \n
Participate and take lead in the discovery, planning and implementation of projects and/or issues. Meet with business partners to understand client needs and make recommendations for technical solutions.
\n - \n
This position has the authority to create, modify and architect programs to maintain and/or enhance current business operations using current Change Procedures. Provide a leadership role on large/complex projects and/or issues. Establish and recommend policies on system use and services.
\n - \n
Maintain and support ServiceNow operational functions
\n - \n
Work with a diverse customer base of internal clients to develop processes and solutions that increase and enhance productivity
\n - \n
Use scripting tools & ServiceNow functionality to create scripts and automate tasks
\n - \n
Develop with an understanding of implication of performance, security and best practices for coding and code structure
\n - \n
Perform technical validation and testing to ensure requirements are satisfied with sample data
\n - \n
Recommend improvements or changes to technical and functional designs where appropriate
\n - \n
Load, manipulate and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems; perform scheduled cloning operations
\n - \n
Perform regular data audits and resolve identified issues
\n - \n
Repair and recover from hardware or software failures; coordinate and communicate with impacted user groups
\n - \n
Escalate to vendor for defect and incident resolution as required
\n - \n
Attain quarterly and annual objectives assigned by management.
\n - \n
B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
\n - \n
An experienced professional who possesses a comprehensive knowledge of IT Service Management best practices and procedures, along with project and people management experience
\n - \n
5-7 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer
\n - \n
Strong verbal and written skills
\n - \n
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
\n - \n
The ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.
\n - \n
The ability to adapt to a dynamic, rapidly changing business and technical environment.
\n - \n
System/Process Automation (Orchestration) experience
\n - \n
Experience with ServiceNow Integrations with third party applications
\n - \n
Understanding of ITIL processes and how they are implemented in Service Now
\n - \n
Experience with working or developing in one or more of the following: JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, HTML or HTML 5
\n - \n
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer is a plus
\n - \n
ITIL certification is a plus
\n - \n
