\nProfile 1:
\nThe data engineer role, is a key role in the data squad under the Treasury Data &Analytics .
\nThe Strategic pillars of Treasury Data & Analytic s team are
\nA common finance data model for GCFO that serves Treasury purposes, where control can be applied centrally.
\nAn optimized finance data architecture with STP, creating capacity for future initiatives such as self-service portal of business products for analytics.
\nEmbedding the data governance model that addresses policies, procedures and business data ownership
\nMonitor and manage data quality via DQMS and the Issue Management Resolution process (IMR).
\nSelf-service data modelling capabilities augmented by AI functionalities
\nStandardized and rationalised set of Analytics made available on Treasury Landing Page with Persona driven UI/UX.
\nThe data workstream data engineer is required to support following activities
\nCollaborate with users and change teams to understand and define the data attributes required for the consuming system
\nConfirm golden source and availability of the required data attributes (CDEs), including frequency, granularity and other dimensions
\nProvide necessary timelines as to when upstream can provide necessary data
\nReview non-functional requirements where it pertains to data retention, archival etc
\nReview and challenge taxonomy requirements with regards to hierarchies
\nData governance and ownership, DQMS (linking to BCBS239) and control framework to be leveraged and implemented
\nProvide optimal solution using Python and with good hands-on prior experience
\nAble to model data and recommend technology with the better end state solution
\nHands on experience in developing dashboards, MI for Treasury functions
\nEnsure Data SLAs (contract between data provided and consumer) and OLAs (agreed timing) in place
\nIdentify handshake with operating model workstream where any of the above impacts as-in or target state operating model and / or processes
\nCollaborate and partner with Global Process Leaders as part of the Build & Maintain model
\nDeliver the infrastructure and capabilities to enable target operating model and control framework
\nOptimizing current business model and enabling business benefit materialization through straight-through processing.
\nRisk Management
\nBe a fearless leader in driving the adoption and associated operational benefits of the strategic technology
\nProactive in seeking regular assurance that the teams are performing to an acceptable risk and control standard.
\nAct quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees.

\nQualification
\nStrong track record of data management and / or data operating model execution and delivery in transformation projects
\n6+ years of overall work experience with 4+ years of relevant data management experience
\nAbility to work proactively, independently when necessary and displays strong initiative.
\nExcellent communication and presentation skills

\nHands on experience in data management and operating model in Tier 1 Bank

\nStrong experience in SQL, Python, or Scala.
\nProficiency in ETL tools, data pipeline frameworks
\nHands-on experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, BigQuery, Azure, etc.)
\nFamiliarity with API integrations, real-time data processing, and automation
\nExperience in data governance, security, and compliance reporting
\nKnowledge of treasury operations, cash management, and investment tracking
\nStrong understanding of financial risk management (FX, interest rate, liquidity risk).
\nAbility to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
\nFamiliarity with financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit processes
\nExperience with real-time financial data processing and analytics
\nKnowledge of machine learning models for treasury forecasting
