A Snapshot of Your Day

\n

This role is being created to support the business ramp-up in India by establishing a robust local supply network. The primary business objective is to identify, qualify, and develop new raw material (Tier-2) suppliers to enhance supply chain resilience and support commodity management strategies. To achieve this, the role will focus on three core areas: upstream supply network development, which involves mapping and identifying suppliers beyond Tier-1; supplier qualification and capability development, focused on assessing and improving the technical and quality performance of these raw material producers; and cross-functional risk management, ensuring collaboration with internal teams to mitigate supply chain vulnerabilities. Given the focus on building a new supplier ecosystem, the ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with extensive experience in supplier development, particularly within raw material value chains. A strong background in quality systems, supplier auditing, and strategic sourcing, coupled with an engineering or materials science education, will be critical for success..
