Mechanical Durability Test Engineer

WHAT WILL I BE DOING AT CLIENT?
\n ? Responsible for On Road Durability Testing - Measurements and Inspection.
\n ? Responsible for Vehicle level Environmental Testings.
\n ? Responsible for conducting Vehicle Level Abuse case tests.
\n ? Responsible for pre and post test inspections and identifying the failures post test.
\n ? Carry out testing as per the Test Request and Document the Test through Test reports and raising FIR/Bugs in the system.
\n ? Maintain all ORD vehicles scheduled service logs and measurement logs and report to the manager.
\n ? Do preliminary Root Cause Analysis on the failures observed on ORD, Abuse and Environmental and Abuse case vehicles and give details of the failures observed to Engineers.
\n ? Reporting bugs in a comprehensive manner.
\n ? Write new test cases to replicate the field conditions and failures and achieve repeatability.
\n ? Manage the riders and the technicians to ensure that the necessary result is achieved.
\n ? Maintains vehicle condition by listening to test riders complaints, conducting inspections, repairing mechanical and electrical systems as instructed, replacing parts and components, repairing body damage.
\n ? Maintains the vehicle upkeep by recording service and repairs.
\n ? Responsible for test standards/procedure creation suit the testing needs.
\n ? Responsible for creating quality test reports with relevant information.
\n ? Calibration of key test equipment and measurement instruments.
\n ? Instrumenting the vehicle before test and data collection post test then analyse the data to provide the results.
\n ? Complete Test data management and upkeep the data entry process.
\n ? Co-ordination with CFTs on making the DVPs and ensuring the completion of DVPs.
\n WHAT KIND OF EXPERIENCE & SKILLS DO I NEED FOR THIS ROLE?
\n ? Good understanding of the 2 wheeler EV architecture.
\n ? The vehicle durability engineer should be capable of technical understanding of a few unique test cases and test data analysis.
\n ? Good understanding of the vehicle and its Mechanical & H/w component functions.
\n ? Prior Experience in Vehicle Durability Testing and Environmental testings.
\n ? Test data management.
\n ? Technical evaluation of vehicles through measurements , inspection and Data collection.
\n ? Should be aware of ORD and Cam drum test standard and SOP.
\n WHAT SHOULD I HAVE GRADUATED IN?
\n ? Diploma / Bachelor s in Mechanical & Electrical or related field.
\n ? 5+ years of experience in Vehicle level Durability testing in the automotive field.
