Business Head Forging & Casting Manufacturing
\nLocation: Coimbatore
\nThe Business Head will have overall responsibility for leading a forging and casting manufacturing facility, with full accountability for operational performance, financial results, quality standards, and workforce effectiveness. This role demands a strong strategic mindset combined with hands-on manufacturing leadership to drive sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and a culture of safety and excellence.

- Formulate and execute business plans that support long-term growth and competitiveness \n
- Align manufacturing strategy with evolving market demands and customer expectations \n
- Identify opportunities to strengthen market position and operational capabilities \n

- Direct end-to-end plant operations, including production scheduling, sourcing, maintenance, and quality functions \n
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve productivity, delivery, and cost targets \n
- Resolve operational challenges through structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making \n

- Lead annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities \n
- Track financial performance against targets and drive initiatives to improve margins and cost efficiency \n
- Ensure disciplined capital and expense management \n

- Build, lead, and retain a capable leadership team across functions \n
- Encourage a performance-oriented culture with emphasis on ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning \n
- Support talent development and succession planning \n

- Establish robust quality systems to meet regulatory, industry, and customer requirements \n
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and waste-reduction practices \n
- Ensure consistency in product quality and process reliability \n

- Champion workplace safety and ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory norms \n
- Promote best practices in environmental, health, and safety management \n
- Maintain a strong compliance and governance framework \n

- Develop strong partnerships with key customers and stakeholders \n
- Address customer concerns proactively and ensure high levels of satisfaction \n
- Collaborate with customers on quality, delivery, and technical requirements \n

- Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline \n
- Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is preferred \n
- \n
- 20+ years of experience in manufacturing operations \n
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within forging and casting environments \n
- Proven track record of managing complex manufacturing operations and delivering business results \n
