Business Head Forging & Casting Manufacturing

Role Summary \n

The Business Head will have overall responsibility for leading a forging and casting manufacturing facility, with full accountability for operational performance, financial results, quality standards, and workforce effectiveness. This role demands a strong strategic mindset combined with hands-on manufacturing leadership to drive sustainable growth, operational efficiency, and a culture of safety and excellence.

Business & Strategic Direction \n

  • Formulate and execute business plans that support long-term growth and competitiveness

  • Align manufacturing strategy with evolving market demands and customer expectations

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen market position and operational capabilities
  • \n

Manufacturing & Operations Leadership \n
    \n
  • Direct end-to-end plant operations, including production scheduling, sourcing, maintenance, and quality functions
  • \n
  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve productivity, delivery, and cost targets
  • \n
  • Resolve operational challenges through structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making
  • \n

Financial & Performance Management \n
    \n
  • Lead annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities
  • \n
  • Track financial performance against targets and drive initiatives to improve margins and cost efficiency
  • \n
  • Ensure disciplined capital and expense management
  • \n
\n


People & Culture \n
    \n
  • Build, lead, and retain a capable leadership team across functions
  • \n
  • Encourage a performance-oriented culture with emphasis on ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning

  • Establish robust quality systems to meet regulatory, industry, and customer requirements

  • Champion workplace safety and ensure adherence to all statutory and regulatory norms

  • Develop strong partnerships with key customers and stakeholders

Candidate Profile \n


Education \n
    \n
  • Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
  • \n
  • Postgraduate qualification (MBA or equivalent) is preferred
  • \n
\n


Experience \n
    \n
  • 20+ years of experience in manufacturing operations
  • \n
  • At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within forging and casting environments
  • \n
  • Proven track record of managing complex manufacturing operations and delivering business results
  • \n
