Job Description
- Lead the finance and controllership function in a fast‑growing startup \n
- High‑ownership role working closely with leadership and key teams \n\n
- Lead end-to-end controllership, including accounting operations, monthly close, financial reporting, and statutory compliance \n
- Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in line with Indian GAAP and internal policies \n
- Strengthen internal controls, accounting governance, and audit preparedness \n
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing finance and accounting team \n
- Partner with business, revenue operations, and FP&A to drive financial discipline and performance insights \n
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cost monitoring, and decision-making processes \n
- Implement scalable finance systems, automation, and process improvements suited for a fast-paced startup \n
- Liaise with auditors, regulatory bodies, and cross-functional stakeholders \n
- Ensure timely compliance with tax, regulatory, and secretarial requirements \n\n
- CA qualification with 10-15 years of post‑qualification experience \n
- Strong background in startups, digital-first companies, or high‑growth environments \n
- Expertise in accounting operations, financial reporting, controls, and compliance \n
- Proven experience leading and developing finance teams \n
- Strong business partnering mindset with comfort working closely with revenue ops and FP&A \n
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-ownership setup \n
- Strong understanding of finance systems, ERPs, and automation-friendly processes
