\nKey Responsibilities:
\n 1. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management
\n %CF; Manage and grow relationships with portfolio managers, fund managers, analysts, traders, and
\n institutional decision-makers.
\n %CF; Acquire new institutional clients and enhance revenue share from existing ones.
\n %CF; Deliver timely research inputs, investment ideas, and actionable market strategies.
\n %CF; Conduct regular client meetings to understand needs and customize offerings.
\n 2. Business Development & Strategic Growth
\n %CF; Design and execute business strategies to increase market share, revenue, and client votes/rankings.
\n %CF; Identify opportunities for bulk/block deals and high-impact transactions.
\n %CF; Lead empanelment processes with new institutional clients.
\n %CF; Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and corporate meetings.
\n 3. Market Analysis & Research Coordination
\n %CF; Analyze markets using charts, volumes, gross deliverables, and other technical/fundamental
\n indicators.
\n %CF; Work closely with the research team to push ideas, trading strategies, and sector insights.
\n %CF; Arrange expert calls, corporate access, and thematic conferences for clients.
\n 4. Team Leadership & Operations
\n %CF; Lead, mentor, and train the institutional sales/dealing team to enhance productivity.
\n %CF; Set performance goals and ensure consistent execution standards.
\n %CF; Maintain high-quality service levels through best practices in account management.
\n 5. Compliance, Reporting & Portfolio Management
\n %CF; Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal processes.
\n %CF; Track trading activity, revenue contribution, and performance metrics.
\n %CF; Maintain oversight of client portfolios (where applicable).
\n Required Skills & Competencies:
\n %CF; Strong understanding of equity markets and institutional investor behaviour.
\n %CF; Proven leadership, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
\n %CF; Excellent communication, market analysis, and decision-making abilities.
\n %CF; Ability to integrate research-driven strategies into client engagement.
\n %CF; Strong time management and coaching abilities.
\n Preferred:
\n %CF; Experience dealing with FPIs/FIIs, PMS, AIFs, ETFs.
\n %CF; Background in research or investment strategy.
\n %CF; Familiarity with electronic trading platforms and algo tools.
\n Qualifications:
\n %CF; Postgraduate degree in Finance, Business, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
\n %CF; 10–18 years of relevant institutional sales experience with strong relationships across major fund
\n houses, insurers, banks, and FIIs/FPIs.
