Account Manager – Commercial Lines Insurance
\n(New Business, Renewals & Client Portfolio Management)
\nJob Purpose
\nThe Account Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients , handling new business opportunities, renewals, and long-term client relationships while ensuring revenue growth and high retention.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nPortfolio Management
\n- \n
- Manage assigned commercial client portfolio \n
- Act as the primary relationship manager for corporate clients \n
- Conduct regular client reviews and risk assessments \n
New Business Growth
\n- \n
- Identify opportunities within existing clients \n
- Handle inbound and referred new business leads \n
- Work with insurers to structure competitive solutions \n
- Drive cross-sell of multiple lines, not limited to: \n
- Property \n
- Liability \n
- Marine \n
- Engineering \n
- SME Packages \n
Renewals & Retention
\n- \n
- Manage renewal cycle for entire portfolio \n
- Negotiate improved terms with insurers \n
- Maintain strong client retention levels \n
- Identify coverage gaps and recommend improvements \n
Client Advisory Role
\n- \n
- Provide risk advisory and insurance recommendations \n
- Assist clients with claims coordination (when required) \n
- Ensure proactive service and relationship management \n
Internal Coordination
\n- \n
- Work closely with internals team for finance, claims, compliance and quality \n
- Maintain CRM updates and pipeline tracking \n
- Monitor receivables and payment follow-ups \n

Requirements
\nExperience

- 3–5 years commercial insurance experience \n
- Strong knowledge of UAE commercial insurance market \n
- Experience managing corporate & individual clients \n
