Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver age-appropriate music lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and educational goals.

• Teach foundational music concepts including rhythm, melody, harmony, notation, and music theory.

• Introduce students to diverse musical genres, including Indian classical, Western classical, folk, and contemporary music.

• Lead and mentor school music ensembles, choirs, bands, or cultural groups.

• Bachelor’s degree in Music (B.Mus) or equivalent qualification; postgraduate degree (M.Mus) preferred.

• 2–5 years of teaching experience in a school or educational setting, preferably in the K-12 segment.

• Proficiency in at least one Indian classical music tradition (Carnatic or Hindustani) and familiarity with Western music theory.
