GRADE Engineer
\nScope of Role
\nThe GRADE Lead Engineer is responsible for leadership of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) product requirement validation
\nArea of Responsibility
\nThis position is responsible for establishing and planning to achieve robust deployment of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) products. You will have responsibility for:
\n- The GRADE review, deep-dive design audit process. \n
- Responsible for achieving robust deployment of Electrical, Electronic and Electromechanical (EEE) products. \n
- Carry out robust design justification, analysis and verification to demonstrate the product is good by design. \n
- Detect and fix design issues as early as possible, prior to design freeze, when it is relatively easier and less expensive to correct mistakes, utilizing expert auditors as guides. \n
- Ensure issues / mistakes made in the past are not repeated, by adhering to the guidelines, PR-AIMs and things that have gone wrong in the past. \n
- Ensure that supplier is properly sourced (ESOW) and on-boarded to correctly engage with the GRADE process with technical expertise, document sharing & project management. \n
- Proven project management capability demonstrated by recent delivery in line with time, Cost, quality & attribute targets \n
- Proven experience in electrical, electronics, electromechanical commodity development and/or integration of at least one complete program. \n
- Engineering knowledge of defined component(s) / system(s) design, function, performance, production & manufacturing requirements, \n
- Excellent communications skills, demonstrated ability to communicate at all levels \n
- Liaise with supplier, Manufacturing, Validation and cross functional teams. \n
- PC Literacy: Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, Word etc \n
- CAD Literacy: Ability to operate CAD software like CATIA V5/V6. \n
- Significant experience in use of engineering tools FMEA, Six Sigma, problem resolution etc. \n
- Successful history of delivery within the automotive sector. \n
