R&D Formulation Chemist – Crop Protection Products (Agrochemicals)

Location: Kyiv Region, Ukraine

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced R&D Formulation Chemist to join our research and development team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and scaling formulations of crop protection products, working closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative agrochemical solutions from concept to commercialization.

This position is based in the Kyiv region, Ukraine . We welcome applications from experienced professionals who are interested in relocating.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize formulations for crop protection products (herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, etc.).
\n
• Design, conduct, and document laboratory experiments for formulation development.
\n
• Evaluate the physical, chemical, and storage stability of formulations.
\n
• Troubleshoot formulation challenges and improve product performance.
\n
• Scale up laboratory formulations for pilot and commercial production.
\n
• Collaborate with analytical, regulatory, production, and quality teams.
\n
• Prepare technical reports, laboratory documentation, and formulation protocols.
\n
• Stay up to date with industry trends, new formulation technologies, and raw materials.
\n

Requirements

\n
• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Chemistry, Formulation Science , or a related field.
\n
• Mandatory experience in developing formulations for crop protection products (agrochemicals).
\n
• Strong knowledge of formulation technologies, surfactants, solvents, dispersants, emulsifiers, and other formulation ingredients.
\n
• Experience with laboratory equipment and formulation testing methods.
\n
• Understanding of formulation scale-up and manufacturing processes.
\n
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n
• English proficiency sufficient for professional communication and documentation.
