Java Training Specialist
Job Description
Responsibilities:
\nCreate clear, actionable reports/surveys to track progress and highlight areas of improvement
\nin Software Engineering Processes with 40+ different product teams
\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable plans to close identified gaps.
\nMentor and guide developers in software best practices, fostering a high standard of quality
\nand efficiency in our software development process.
\nServe as the leader of our Code Review Community of Practice, advocating for constructive
\nand thorough code reviews that promote knowledge sharing and learning.
\nMaintain and update our Training System, ensuring alignment with industry standards and
\nevolving best practices.
\nWe have a high backlog of things to be done, and you will be able to spend up to 20% for software
\ndevelopment activities and 80% for training and mentoring.
\nQualifications:
\nMinimum 5-7 years of experience in Java programming knowledge
\nDemonstrated experience in creating and delivering technical training programs, with a talent for engaging audiences and making complex topics accessible.
\nStrong expertise in conducting insightful, detailed, and constructive code reviews.
\nProven experience with enterprise design patterns and methodologies, including DomainDrivenDesign(DDD),Clean Architecture, Event-Driven Architecture, and
\nMicroservices.
\nFamiliarity with CI/CD processes within a DevOps-oriented development environment.
\nExcellent problem-solving abilities, outstanding communication skills, and a genuine
\npassion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.
\nHigh proficiency in spoken and written English.
