Job Title: Pharma Data Analyst

Department: Supply Chain- Data Team

Reports to: Subject Matter Expert

Job Summary:

The Pharma Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, standardising, analysing, and interpreting complex data sets related to pharmaceutical products, hospital purchase data, market trends, etc. The role involves using statistical tools and software to structure the data and deliver insights that support operations of the Affordplan in the healthcare industry. The role majorly involves master data management.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection & Management-

- Gather, clean, and preprocess large sets of data from internal and external sources.

- Ensure data integrity and consistency by identifying and resolving data discrepancies.

- Maintain and update pharmaceutical databases for efficient use and retrieval.

2. Data Analysis-

- Use advanced data analytics tools to generate actionable insights.

3. Process Improvement-

- Continuously identify opportunities to improve data collection, analysis processes, and reporting methods.

- Implement best practices for data handling and analysis in line with industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field such as Pharmaceutical Sciences, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. B. Pharm, M. Pharm, Pharm D is preferred.

- Experience: 2-4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

- Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in data analysis tools or similar is preferred.

- Domain Knowledge- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and medical products based on their pharmacological classification is preferred.

Soft Skills-

- Strong communication skills for presenting complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
