    Designation: Area Sales Manager

    \n Reports to: Regional Sales Manager & Business Head

    \n Location: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, KolkataMain responsibilities:

    \n
  • Ensure achievement of primary & secondary sales targets through dealers and distributors.
  • \n
  • Ensure that the current outlet base is serviced optimally in terms of no. of visits in a month and presentation of sample kits - track and monitor the same.
  • \n
  • Ramp up availability of secondary brands by benchmarking with current distribution of primary brands & competitor brands.
  • \n
  • Ensure a healthy mix across different categories of the business from the state.
  • \n
  • Plan and organize sales events and road shows in the state to drive order booking.
  • \n
  • Expansion of distribution to New Outlets and New towns (very important).
  • \n
  • Strengthen Business presence and relationship with all key dealers in the state.
  • \n
  • Recommend trade and market development plans in the state like setting up Priority stores, Exclusive brand outlets, etc., to create the best brand experience for shoppers in the market.
  • \n
  • Ensure Best in Class execution of brand activation plans in the market through the team of TSO/ TSMs.
  • \n
  • Ensure proper implementation of company schemes and promotional spends in the market through the team of TSOs/ TSMs.
  • \n
  • Ensure good commercial and business hygiene with trade partners - maintaining a healthy inventory, avoid ageing of stocks, address warranty returns, etc.
  • \n
  • Monitor distributor ROI on a regular basis.
  • \n
  • Ensure Collections of payments from Distributors and Direct dealers as per timelines to avoid outstanding dues and bad debts.
  • \n
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate Distributor performance and take corrective actions through TSOs/ TSMs.
  • \n
  • Ensure customer complaints are resolved in a timely manner.
  • \n
  • Coaching and Development of TSOs and TSMs.
  • \n

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n

    Post-graduation in Management from a Premier B-School (Tier I or Tier II) in India with e a good mix of sales and marketing experience post MBA.
