Job Title : Mechanical Pipestress Design

\n Roles & Responsibilities

- Perform piping stress and flexibility analysis using CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools.
\n - Execute advanced engineering assessments and special studies for complex piping systems, supports, and equipment interactions.
\n - Evaluate piping systems for thermal expansion, sustained loads, occasional loads, and equipment interface suitability.
\n - Apply mechanical engineering principles such as fracture mechanics, fatigue, buckling, creep, and material mechanics to assess system integrity and remaining life.
\n - Design and optimize piping support systems including springs, guides, anchors, and special supports.
\n - Assess piping loads on connected equipment and ensure compliance with allowable nozzle load limits.
\n - Support brownfield modifications, tie-ins, rerouting activities, and facility upgrades with practical engineering solutions.
\n - Prepare and review stress analysis reports, support markups, nozzle load summaries, and technical documentation.
\n - Ensure compliance with applicable piping codes, engineering standards, and safety requirements.
\n - Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, reliable, and cost-effective solutions. \n

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
\n - Strong knowledge of piping stress analysis and flexibility engineering.
\n - Hands-on experience with CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, ANSYS, Abaqus, SolidWorks, or similar engineering software.
\n - Good understanding of ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, and ASME PCC-2 standards.
\n - Knowledge of thermal expansion analysis, equipment nozzle load evaluation, and piping support design.
\n - Experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, or industrial facility projects.
\n - Familiarity with brownfield engineering, tie-ins, rerouting, and plant modification projects.
\n - Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
\n - Ability to prepare detailed engineering reports and technical documentation.
\n - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
\n - Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary engineering environments.
\n - Strong focus on safety, quality, and engineering compliance. \n
