\n Position Description
\n We are seeking a hands-on Enterprise Power BI Architect to define, design, and govern the BI architecture across programs and client accounts. This role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performance reporting solutions that enable data-driven decision-making.
\n The architect will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, and delivery leads to translate business needs into enterprise reporting frameworks. The role requires a strong combination of Power BI technical expertise, architectural thinking, governance, and stakeholder engagement.
\n This is an individual contributor role focused on architecture and delivery oversight, rather than people management.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

\n

\n

Architecture & Solution Design
\n Design, develop, and oversee Power BI dashboards, reports, and paginated reports aligned with business requirements.
\n Define and maintain enterprise-level Power BI architecture standards, patterns, and best practices.
\n Architect scalable semantic models, reusable data models, and enterprise reporting frameworks.
\n Establish reusable data models, KPI frameworks, and visualization standards across domains.
\n Define and enforce data security strategies, including Row-Level Security (RLS), access governance, and workspace security.
\n Drive performance optimization across datasets, data models, reports, and enterprise workspaces.
\n Optimize data models, datasets, and report performance for enterprise-scale deployments.
\n Governance & Strategy
\n Define and enforce BI governance standards including naming conventions, workspace strategy, and deployment pipelines.
\n Collaborate with data engineering teams to align reporting with data warehouse, lakehouse, and analytics platforms.
\n Evaluate existing reporting solutions and recommend modernization and architecture improvements.
\n Ensure data governance, compliance, and security standards are maintained.
\n Act as a steward for analytics platform maturity and standardization across accounts.
\n Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
\n Lead architecture discussions with business stakeholders, program leaders, and clients.
\n Translate business strategy and analytical needs into actionable reporting and architecture roadmaps.
\n Clearly articulate trade-offs, risks, scalability considerations, and remediation strategies to both technical and non-technical audiences.
\n Provide solution architecture support for presales, estimations, and strategic initiatives.
\n Delivery Enablement & Team Leadership
\n Guide BI developers and tech leads on data modeling, DAX optimization, and Power BI best practices.
\n Conduct architecture reviews, design validations, and solution quality assessments.
\n Enable DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and monitoring practices for Power BI solutions.
\n Mentor teams and promote enterprise BI delivery maturity and technical excellence.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

\n

\n

Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or higher with minimum 9 years of relevant experience.

\n Must-Have Skills
\n 9+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Analytics.
\n 5+ years of hands-on Power BI experience in enterprise environments.
\n Design, develop, and oversee interactive Power BI dashboards, reports, and paginated reports.
\n Strong expertise in:
\n Advanced data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Composite Models)
\n DAX optimization and performance tuning
\n Power Query / data transformation
\n Row-Level Security (RLS) and Power BI governance
\n Strong SQL skills with understanding of data warehouse architecture.
\n Experience with Azure / SQL Server-based analytics platforms.
\n Experience implementing DevOps / CI-CD pipelines for Power BI.
\n Strong stakeholder communication and architectural leadership capabilities.
\n Good to Have
\n Experience with Microsoft Fabric.
\n Exposure to data lakes, lakehouse architecture, and modern analytics platforms.
\n Experience implementing monitoring, observability, and automation frameworks for BI solutions.
\n Experience working in large-scale or multi-account delivery environments.
