\nJob Summary
\nWe are looking for an experienced Resource Manager with deep exposure to IT delivery
\nenvironments. The role is responsible for end-to-end resource planning, demand forecasting,
\nutilization optimization, and stakeholder management across multiple accounts or portfolios.
\nThe candidate should be comfortable working with senior leadership, delivery teams, sales, and
\nHR to ensure optimal staffing aligned to business goals.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nResource Planning & Allocation
\nOwn short-term and long-term resource planning across projects, programs, and
\naccounts
\nAlign demand forecasts with available capacity and hiring plans
\nEnsure optimal utilization of billable and strategic resources
\nManage bench size, redeployments, and release planning
\nDemand Forecasting & Capacity Management
\nPartner with sales, delivery, and finance teams to understand pipeline and forecast
\ndemand
\nTranslate revenue and project forecasts into headcount and skill requirements
\nIdentify capacity risks and proactively propose mitigation plans
\nStakeholder Management
\nAct as a trusted advisor to Cluster Head , Sales & Finance team in terms of Workforce
\nmanagement
\nSupport leadership with data-driven insights on utilization, margins, and capacity gaps
\nHandle escalations related to resource conflicts and prioritization
\nProcess & Governance
\nDefine and improve RMG processes, policies, and governance models
\nEnsure adherence to utilization targets, billing compliance, and staffing SLAs
\nDrive standardization and best practices across accounts and regions
\nReporting & Analytics
\nPublish regular dashboards and MIS on utilization, capacity, hiring gaps, and attrition
\nimpact
\nProvide insights to leadership for decision-making
\nTrack KPIs such as utilization %, billability, bench aging, and fulfillment TAT
\nRequired Skills & Competencies
\nFunctional Skills
\nStrong expertise in IT resource management, capacity planning, and demand forecasting
\nExperience supporting delivery models such as Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid
\nGood understanding of revenue, billing, and margin concepts
\nTools & Systems
\nExperience with RMG tools or workforce management platforms
\nAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, dashboards)
\nExperience with reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar is a plus
\nBehavioral & Leadership Skills
\nStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities
\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills
\nAbility to influence without authority
\nComfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
\nEducational Qualification
\nBachelor's degree in engineering, Management, or related field
\nMBA or relevant certifications are an added advantage
\nPreferred Experience
\nExperience in IT services specially in start-up environments
\nExposure to large-scale transformation or growth programs
