  • Lead the RFP process, including preparation of RFP and the associated Technical Annexures Employer Requirement, Head of Terms and evaluation of technical and commercial proposals.
  • \n
  • Lead the Contract drafting/Review process and negotiation of contract/agreement terms, with a particular emphasis on the negotiation of EPC, OM Contracts and Supplier Framework Agreements.
  • \n
  • Assemble and distribute the appropriate Contract annexures (Legal/Technical/Commercial) to internal departments and external third parties. Solicit, compile, and evaluate comments for resolution with external and internal stakeholders
  • \n
  • Review and manage EPC Contractor, schedules, budgets, scope, subcontractors, EHS plans and permit compliance.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with EPC contractors and equipment vendors to ensure adherence to and compliance with contract terms and delivery of contractual deliverables in accordance with the project budget and schedule.
  • \n
  • Maintain company standard template agreements, including, but not limited to, NDAs, EPC, OM, Framework Agreement.
  • \n
  • Maintain contract spreadsheets, databases, or other tracking software (SharePoint and specified Project Management Tools), as applicable, to effectively track and file contracts.
  • \n
  • Facilitate the Kick-Off Process, to ensure takeover of the executed contracts by Project
  • \n
  • Management and Construction Team. Evaluate and recommend changes in existing processes
  • \n
  • to improve the efficient operation of the contract management.
  • \n
  • Attend and lead the periodic status meetings with the various stakeholders, document
  • \n
  • discussions and outcomes and update the tracking database as necessary.

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering accredited college or university.
  • \n
  • Master's degree/MBA will be an advantage.
  • \n
  • Additional contract and commercial certifications would be advantageous.
  • \n
  • Minimum 12-16 years Tendering/RFP/commercial experience required across the sector, while at least 4-6 years of experience should be in renewable energy
  • \n
  • Experience working for an EPC/IPP/Project developers
  • \n
  • Understanding of International contract guidelines like FIDIC, norms and practices in the renewable power sector, preferably in developed countries/regions (, EU, NA, AUS).
  • \n
  • Attention to detail, research and exceptional organizational and proofreading skills.
  • \n
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capability.
  • \n
  • Independent, self-starter, team-oriented and confident in his or her abilities.
  • \n
  • A team-player with ability to deal with multiple stake holders and cross functional teams.
  • \n
  • Good communication skills - written, oral and presentation.
  • \n
  • Time management, highly analytical, execution mindset and attention to detail
  • \n
  • Software Skills: Expertise in MS Office product including PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook etc.
