Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
\nHandle/Follow up on Court cases, as and when required. Coordinate with other departments within the organization to get timely information / documents that required for any court proceedings.
\nHaving experience with-in collaborating with Senior councils in the litigation matters.
\nCollaborate with external Advocates to manage litigations of the organization pending before various courts of law including RERA, Consumer Forums, Civil Court, High Court, Supreme Court and preparing the appropriate notes and briefs and also prepare requisite applications/ statements/ arguments etc.
\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders and HO stakeholders and update them with the facts and merits of the cases and send reports and updates regularly
\nTracking and monitoring of all the litigations and timely updating of day to day court proceedings.
\nDrafting of legal notices, reply to legal notices, review and vetting of various drafts shared by external Advocates and ensure timely filing of such documents before the concerned court.
\nKnowledge on Title due diligences, preparing preliminary title report, knowledge on land related cases, evaluate land records and conduct a thorough due diligence as and when required. Highlight the risk and mitigation strategies / options.
\nKeep track of existing laws and changes to laws governing real estate development. And Capitalize on any emerging opportunities for the benefit of the organization.
\nEnsure effective management of legal documents.
