    Job Description

    A global organization in the agri-commodities sector is seeking a senior leader to drive trade execution transformation and integration initiatives across multiple geographies. This role will focus on optimizing end-to-end trade operations for dry agricultural products (such as seeds, grains, sugar, cotton, etc.) and building scalable processes within a shared services environment.

  • Lead global trade execution process transformation to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • \n
  • Define and implement the future operating model for trade execution processes across multiple business units.
  • \n
  • Drive integration of trade operations from acquired entities into a centralized structure, ensuring smooth transition and stabilization.
  • \n
  • Set up new delivery capabilities for emerging commodities and domestic execution processes.
  • \n
  • Establish KPIs and performance metrics to monitor cost, turnaround time, and quality.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders including trading teams, freight operations, finance, and compliance to deliver seamless execution.
  • \n
  • Identify and implement cost optimization programs and working capital improvements.
  • \n
  • Leverage technology and workflow tools to enhance agility and transparency in trade operations.
  • \n
  • Coach and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n
  • Postgraduate degree (MBA preferred) in International Business, Supply Chain, or Operations.
  • \n
  • 12+ years of experience in global supply chain, trade execution, or transformation roles, with at least 7-8 years in leading large-scale process improvement initiatives.
  • \n
  • Proven track record of cost optimization and operational excellence in complex, multi-country environments.
  • \n
  • Exposure to international logistics, EXIM documentation, and shared services models.
  • \n
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to work across diverse geographies.
  • \n
  • Experience in workflow tools, process automation, and performance governance.
