Sybase DBA

Sybase DBA support and also in troubleshooting and resolving database problems and experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization.
\n Configure and maintain database servers and components.
\n Monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
\n Monitor database and replication servers for resource utilization.
\n Handle testing, reporting, backup/restore. Manage database distribution, security and access requirements.
\n Knowledge of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for ASE Business Suite.
\n Knowledge of handling audit database and generate customer audit reports as per customer's requirements
\n Provides technical expertise in troubleshooting and DBMS configuration.
\n Provides 24x7 production and non-production DBA on-call support.
\n Establishes corporate standards for disaster and support maintenance window activities like DB Patching and upgrades.
\n Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes recovery, data retention and database security and monitoring.
\n Candidate must be capable of working independently and collaboratively with good knowledge of ITIL processes.
\n Should possess good communication and problem-solving skills.
