Job Description

- Develop and maintain project financial models, including cost estimates, cash flow projections, IRR/NPV analysis, and sensitivity scenarios. %AA; Track project progress against approved timelines, milestones, and budgets in coordination with project, engineering, and manufacturing teams \n
- Monitor actual vs budget vs forecast for project capex and related opex. \n
- Analyze cost overruns, schedule slippages, and scope changes, and quantify their financial impact. \n
- Ensure strong cost control and budget management, including tracking commitments, accruals, and vendor payments. \n
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial, operational, and legal risks associated with projects. \n
- Prepare periodic project MIS, dashboards, and exception reports for senior management and leadership reviews. \n
- Support preparation of capex proposals, investment notes, and management presentations. \n
- Partner with Procurement, Projects, Engineering, and Operations teams to validate estimates and change orders. \n
- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, approval matrices, and governance frameworks. \n
- Support project closure, capitalization, and post-project financial reviews. \n
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence outcomes to ensure project objectives are met. \n\n
- Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years of relevant experience. \n
- Experience in manufacturing / project-intensive industries is essential. \n
- Prior exposure to Head Office / Corporate Finance roles is mandatory. \n
- Strong exposure to capex-heavy projects and cross-functional coordination.
