Manager- Corporate Affairs
Job Description
As a Manager - Corporate Affairs, you will support government relations, engage with policymakers and
\nindustry forums in Maharashtra, and execute strategies to drive business growth, working closely with the Group
\nPresident Corporate Affairs and reporting to the General Manager Corporate Affairs.
\nKey responsibilities:
\n1. Government relations and advocacy
\nLead government-related initiatives that impact GILAC s business interest
\nDevelop and lead advocacy efforts on priority issues, engaging leadership in public policy and
\nregulatory advocacy
\nEngage with government officials and other relevant external stakeholders at all appropriate levels to
\nenhance their understanding of GILAC s products, services and positions, and promote policies that
\nenhance and protect them
\n2. Policy development and coordination
\nCollaborate with our business leaders to lead and coordinate policy priorities related to business
\nactivities in Maharashtra
\nDevelop policy positions and support the creation of thought leadership materials on relevant issues to
\nenhance the business s market position
\nMonitor impending changes in relevant legislation, regulations and or government incentive schemes
\nclosely
\n3. Industry and external engagement
\nParticipate in industry association meetings in close coordination with the General Manager and Group
\nPresident of the Corporate Affairs team, driving business activity on priority issues
\nDevelop business engagement and partnerships with internal stakeholders and support functions to drive
\nbusiness outcomes and continuous improvement within the Corporate Affairs function
\n4. Strategic business support
\nCollaborate with business leaders to develop strategic priorities by participating in business operating
\nprocesses such as financial planning, product development and strategy development
\nWork with legal counsel and business leaders to secure regulatory approvals needed to execute
\nThe Organization s commercial priorities
\nAssist businesses in securing government support, such as financial incentives, and pending dues, to help
\nmeet their business goals
