About the Client:

\nRoles & Responsibilities:
\nProcessing Payroll
\n1. Computation of salary payable based on days worked, deductions, taxes and relevant benefits ensuring accurate and timely payment.
\n2. Maintaining the records of all payroll transactions including employee earnings, taxes and deductions for reporting and audit purpose.
\nStatutory Compliance
\n1. Stay updated on tax regulations and compliance requirements.
\n2. Payment of statutory dues on or before the due date and avoid legal penalties.
\n3. Filing of applicable Returns and adhering to the timelines strictly.
\nReconciliation and Balance Sheet Schedules
\n1. Preparation / review of reconciliations and Balance Sheet account schedules monthly for financial accuracy ensuring strong internal controls.
\nAudit
\n1. Provide payroll data with Internal Audit and Statutory audit team, working closely with them resolving their queries ensuring timely completion of audit
\nPayroll Reports
\n1. Co-ordinate with external consultant for Actuarial Valuation Report for audit purpose
\n2. Generate and publish payroll reports to Management team as per timelines
\nEmployee Queries
\n1. Address queries related to payroll and benefits promptly, ensuring employee satisfaction
\nRequirements:
\n- \n
- B.com / M.com with experience in Payroll processing and accounting, taking care of statutory compliance, good knowledge in fundamental accounting and reporting skills like balance sheet schedules and reconciliations etc. \n
- 4to7 years of proven experience as Payroll Specialist. \n
- Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices. \n
- Experience in payroll systems and software such as ADP, Neeyamo \n
