Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) or relevant discipline – Mandatory

Diploma / Certification in Industrial Safety / Construction Safety from a recognized institute preferred
\n\n - \n
12 – 18+ years of experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) in large construction or infrastructure projects , preferably high-rise building construction

Project Site / Multiple Project Sites
\n\n - \n
Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and safety management systems across project sites.
\n - \n
Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations, company safety policies, and industry standards .
\n - \n
Promote a strong safety culture among employees, subcontractors, and workers .
\n\n - \n
Monitor safety practices across construction activities including structural work, formwork, reinforcement, finishing, and MEP installations .
\n - \n
Ensure implementation of safe work procedures, risk assessments, and method statements .
\n - \n
Conduct periodic site safety inspections and audits .
\n\n - \n
Identify potential workplace hazards and safety risks across project activities.
\n - \n
Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to minimize accidents and unsafe conditions .

Review and approve Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments .
\n\n - \n
Lead investigations for accidents, near misses, and safety incidents .
\n - \n
Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions .
\n - \n
Maintain proper incident reporting and documentation .
\n\n - \n
Conduct safety training programs and awareness sessions for employees and workers.
\n - \n
Ensure regular toolbox talks and safety briefings at project sites.
\n - \n
Promote best safety practices among subcontractors and labour teams.
\n\n - \n
Ensure proper implementation of environmental management practices including waste management, dust control, and pollution prevention.
\n - \n
Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices .
\n\n - \n
Monitor safety performance of subcontractors and vendors .
\n - \n
Ensure contractors comply with site safety standards and procedures .
\n - \n
Participate in contractor safety meetings and reviews .
\n\n - \n
Maintain records of safety inspections, incident reports, and compliance documentation .
\n - \n
Prepare EHS performance reports and safety statistics .
\n - \n
Report safety performance to project leadership and management .
\n\n - \n
Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and regulations
\n - \n
Experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, and incident investigation
\n - \n
Knowledge of environmental management practices in construction projects
\n - \n
Familiarity with safety audit procedures and compliance requirements
\n - \n
Proficiency in MS Excel, reporting tools, and safety documentation systems

Strong leadership and team management capabilities

\n\nThe Senior Manager – EHS will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and practices across construction site . The role involves ensuring strict compliance with safety regulations, promoting a strong safety culture, and minimizing workplace hazards and incidents .
\nThe candidate will lead site safety teams, coordinate with project management and contractors, and ensure all construction activities are carried out safely and in compliance with statutory requirements .
