\nOur client is manufacturing Fuel Injection Equipment for Cars, Sports Utility and Multi Utility Vehicles, Light Commercial Vehicles, Tractors, Single & Two Cylinder engines. It is the largest automotive supplier in the world and The company has a track record of sustained growth since it was set up.
\nLocation: Oragadam, Chennai
\nJob Title: Section head Product design
\nQualification & Experience
\nBE (Mech or Automobile or production) full time with 22 to 27 years of experience in Reliability testing
\nME (Machine design / cad cam design) full time with 18 to 23 years
\nRole & Responsibilities:
\nShould lead the product design section of 25 to 30 engineers to achieve Business targets & Customer deliverables
\nBuild Competence to meet NPD requirements
\nWork to improve product robustness.
\nFamiliarity with TQM design guidelines.
\nAdherence to IATF 16949 requirements
\nMinimize design iterations. Develop products to meet target cost
\nNature of Experience
\nExperience in design and development in Automotive Industry. Fuel injection System part design is preferable
\nExposure to Design related software
\nKnowledge in precision parts manufacturing process
\nVAVE related
\nBench marking of product
\nExposure in DFMEA preparation
\nFamiliar with design standards and guidelines
\nExposure to reverse engineering
\nHandling customer return parts analysis
\nExperience in proto parts development
\nKnowledge in Material / Heat treatment selection for automotive parts
