Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
\nFinancial / Strategy
\nCost Estimation
\nCalculation of quantities based on drawings received
\nAnalysis and coordination of drawings from Architects, Structural and MEP consultants.
\nTimely rate analysis of items required in the project (Parameter: location-wise, project type based analysis) Projects included Residential and commercial
\nBudget Monitoring
\nMake budget for various projects at different life stages and submit timely reports
\nCost monitoring budget v/s actual Rate Analysis
\nCost Leadership - Generate ideas to minimize cost for each project
\nOperational- Project Review Meetings
\nCoordinates with the multiple site resources to conduct weekly project review meetings to update the other departments on the project status
\nProcess- Process Adherence
\nComplies with company defined guidelines and processes
\nAdheres to project timelines
\nProcess Improvement -
\nIdentifies processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement
\nRecommends process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity
\nUndertakes process improvement activities in own work area
\nPeople Management and Development- Learning & Development
\nAbility to handle large team of atleast 8-10
\nIdentifies self development needs and those of team members
\nTakes concrete steps to pursue self development as well as development of team members through training, education, projects etc.
\nQualification:
\nBachelor s /Masters Degree in Civil Engineering
\nExperience:
\n15 years of experience. Should have minimum 12 years of experience in leading Costing & Budgeting/ Tendering.
\nCritical Skills:
\nStrong communication and presentation skills
\nHigh on quantitative aptitude
\nAwareness of new technologies in the construction industry
\nKnowledge of SAP, MS Project, ACONEX, AUTOCAD, MS Excel is added advantage.
\nAwareness of design principles
\nAdept at construction practices including quality and safety norms.
