\nJob Responsibilities

Under direct supervision, executes and supervises cradle to grave purchasing activities (including bid, evaluate, award cycle, execution of agreements, execution of changes, price, and schedule negotiations) for a specific commodity group or project
\n - \n
Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts, and long-term contracts with suppliers for the procurement of goods, services, and supplies
\n - \n
Identify corrective actions and measures in case of quality or schedule issues with suppliers
\n - \n
Works closely with Engineering and the projects
\n - \n
Assures that problems will report timely to the projects and senior procurement management
\n - \n
Conducts the orderly closeout of Procurement operations, including settlement of claims and back-charges, and resolving punch list items assigned to Procurement
\n - \n
Develops core job competencies with existing procedures and work processes
\n - \n
Must be willing to work hours to support counterparts in different geographical regions (US, UK, etc.)
\n - \n
Engineering qualification background, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Business
\n - \n
3+ years of Procurement and Supply Chain Management experience with a global EPC company executing contracts in key industries, such as oil and gas, LNG, petrochemical, chemical, etc.
\n - \n
Experience in purchasing or subcontracts, including bid, evaluate, award cycle, execution of agreements, execution of changes, price and schedule negotiations, and commercial strategy.
\n - \n
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in order to flow goals and directives and effectively communicate commercial solutions and concepts to procurement personnel and non-procurement personnel
\n - \n
Ability to work in a complex schedule-driven work environment
\n - \n
Candidates must have strong analytical skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Candidates must be able to learn new software and tools easily
