\nReporting to: Chief Digital Officer
\nJob Overview:
\nDigital Officer is responsible for driving digital transformation initiatives at the site level by bridging business operations with technology solutions. As a frontline manager, the role focuses on execution, adoption, and value realization of digital initiatives across manufacturing, engineering, and support functions.
\nKey Responsibilities:
\n1. Digital Strategy Execution (Site Level)
\na) Deploy enterprise digital strategy aligned with plant objectives
\nb) Identify opportunities for digitalization across production, quality, maintenance, and supply chain
\nc) Drive implementation of Industry 4.0 use cases (IoT, analytics, automation, AI)
\n2. Program & Project Management
\na) Lead and manage digital projects from concept to deployment
\nb) Ensure timelines, budgets, and deliverables are met
\nc) Coordinate with central digital/IT teams and external vendors
\n3. Stakeholder Management
\na) Act as the primary interface between plant operations and digital/IT teams
\nb) Engage with production, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams
\nc) Drive cross-functional collaboration for digital adoption
\n4. Digital Adoption & Change Management
\na) Ensure high user adoption of digital tools and platforms
\nb) Conduct training sessions and awareness programs
\nc) Manage resistance to change and build a digital-first culture
\n5. Data & Analytics Enablement
\na) Promote data-driven decision making across the plant
\nb) Ensure data quality, governance, and accessibility
\nc) Support implementation of dashboards, KPIs, and analytics tools
\nKey Skills & Competencies:
\n1. Technical Skills
\nStrong understanding of:
\nIndustry 4.0 technologies (IoT, MES, AI/ML, Digital Twins)
\nManufacturing processes and systems
\nERP systems (SAP preferred)
\nData analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python basics preferred)
\n2. Functional Skills
\na) Project management (Agile/Waterfall)
\nb) Problem-solving and root cause analysis
\nc) Process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma)
