Responsibilities:

Design and implement robust data architectures that support business requirements and drive data-driven decision-making.

Develop and maintain scalable data models, data warehouses, and data lakes using Snowflake, Databricks, Hadoop, and open-source data lake architectures.

Lead data engineering efforts to build and optimize ETL pipelines, ensuring data quality and integrity.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.

Conduct data profiling, data mapping, and data lineage analysis to ensure accurate and consistent data flow.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior data engineers and architects.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve our data architecture.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

10-15 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, and data modeling.

Proven expertise in Snowflake or Databricks or Hadoop , and open-source data lake architectures, including hands-on experience with their respective tools and frameworks.

Strong proficiency in SQL, Python , and other relevant programming languages.

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud .

In-depth knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing, and data lake architectures .

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Knowledge of machine learning and AI concepts.

Familiarity with data governance frameworks and tools.

Presales experience, including the ability to engage with clients and support sales teams in crafting data solutions.

Experience in proposal drafting, solution designing, proposal defense & estimations.
