ShimentoX Technologies is seeking an experienced Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems. You will play a key role in driving system architecture, ensuring code quality, and contributing to the continuous improvement of backend services and development practices.

  Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot .

  Drive system design and architecture discussions for new and existing services.

  Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.

  Collaborate closely with product managers , frontend engineers , and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end features.

  Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability .

  Participate in code reviews , ensure code quality, and mentor junior engineers when needed.

  Identify performance bottlenecks and design robust solutions.

\n
• \n

  Quickly ramp up on new technologies , business domains, and existing codebases.

  Contribute to improving development processes , automation , and CI/CD pipelines .

  Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability across microservices.

\n
• \n

  Support technical direction and contribute to the overall product roadmap .

  Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot framework.

  Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture and RESTful APIs .

  Expertise in relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL .

  Solid understanding of data structures , algorithms , and distributed systems .

• \n

  Familiarity with DevOps , CI/CD pipelines , and Agile methodologies .

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science , Engineering, or related field.

  5+ years of experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot.

  Proven ability to design and build scalable backend architectures.
