Job Description
- Executive Leadership position to lead end to end India operations. \n
- Responsible for driving business growth & ensuring operational excellence. \n\n
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan aligned with global and local business objectives. \n
- Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability while ensuring competitive positioning in the chemical products industry. \n
- Lead new product development and innovation initiatives to maintain technology leadership. \n
- Oversee end-to-end manufacturing operations ensuring high standards of quality, safety, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. \n
- Implement best practices in manufacturing processes, lean operations, and continuous improvement. \n
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, industry standards, and corporate policies. \n
- Lead the India leadership team spanning manufacturing, R&D, sales, marketing, finance, and human resources. \n
- Drive strong collaboration across functions to achieve operational synergies and business goals. \n
- Manage P&L accountability and financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. \n
- Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing workforce of 200+ employees. \n
- Foster a culture of safety, innovation, accountability, and employee engagement. \n
- Lead talent acquisition, retention strategies, and succession planning. \n
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, government bodies, and industry associations. \n
- Act as the primary liaison with the Board of Directors, providing regular updates on business performance, risks, and opportunities. \n
- Represent the company externally at industry forums and business councils. \n\n
- Educational Background:Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is mandatory.Additional qualifications in General Management (MBA or equivalent) preferred. \n
- Experience:Minimum 20 years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing within the chemical or related industries with a P&L experience.Proven track record of leading end-to-end operations including manufacturing, R&D, sales, finance, and HR.Prior experience managing large teams (200+ employees) in a complex, multinational organizational structure.Demonstrated ability in P&L management, strategic business planning, and operational execution.Experience in XSBR latex, styrene-acrylate emulsions, adhesives, or related chemical segments is highly desirable.Exposure to regulatory compliance, quality control systems, and sustainability practices.Overseas experience or experience working with international stakeholders is a plus. \n
- Skills & Competencies:Strong leadership presence with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.Financial acumen with capability to manage budgets, forecasts, and investments.Ability to work effectively with the Board and senior executives.High degree of business ethics and integrity.
