    Job Description

    Reporting to the Senior Director - Operations, you will:

  • Lead procurement strategy for steel plates, structural materials, consumables, logistics, and project requirements.
  • \n
  • Develop and manage strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliable supply.
  • \n
  • Negotiate commercial contracts and drive cost optimization initiatives.
  • \n
  • Forecast procurement requirements based on project drawings and production schedules.
  • \n
  • Manage vendor development, qualification, and performance evaluation.
  • \n
  • Ensure effective inventory management and material availability for project execution.
  • \n
  • Drive techno-commercial evaluations, quote analysis, and lead-time optimization.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with quality teams for supplier inspections and compliance verification.
  • \n
  • Oversee purchase orders, delivery tracking, and purchase-to-delivery cycle management.
  • \n
  • Lead procurement reporting, MIS preparation, and stakeholder communication.
  • \n

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n
  • Holds a in Mechanical or Civil Engineering; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • \n
  • Brings 18-25 years of procurement experience within steel, manufacturing, or project-driven industries.
  • \n
  • Strong expertise in vendor development, cost estimation, techno-commercial negotiations, and supply chain management.
  • \n
  • Proven experience in procurement planning aligned with project schedules.
  • \n
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities across internal and external partners.
  • \n
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
