\n\nPosition Title DCS Library Developer
\n Job Location Bommasandra Industrial Area, Hosur Main Road, Bangalore
\n Working Days Hybrid; 3 days WFO and 2 days WFH
\n Years of Experience 3 to 5 yearsMust-Have Skills
\n 2 - 3 years of experience in Siemens PCS7
\n Industrial fieldbus protocols
\n IEC 61131-3 programming languagesYour job:
\n * Support the development of Driver Blocks for Siemens PCS7 systems under the guidance of a Senior Developer following the four eyes principle
\n * Provide technical support for PCS7 systems by addressing customer and internal technical inquiries
\n * Create, revise, and format technical documentation and application notes for FESTO products throughout the development lifecycle
\n * Maintain Wikis, documentation repositories, and import trackers in Code Beamer ensuring compliance with project specifications
\n * Collaborate with responsible internal departments to ensure technical and project alignment
\n * Support continuous improvement of development processes, documentation quality, and knowledge sharing.
The Successful Applicant
\n\nA successful DCS Library Developer should have :
\n * Completed degree in Mechatronics, Information Technology, or a related field
\n * 2 - 3 years of experience in automation, control systems, or a related engineering role
\n * Familiarity with DCS and PLC programming, Siemens PCS7, IEC 61131-3 programming languages, industrial fieldbus protocols such as PROFINET and PROFIBUS, XML coding, and device description languages
\n * Proficient written and spoken English communication skills
\n * Proficiency with development and documentation tools including VS Code, Python as an asset, and structured technical documentation practices
