Job Description
- A high‑impact leadership role driving end‑to‑end product quality. \n
- Strong exposure to global retail standards. \n\n
- Lead all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities across product development and production. \n
- Oversee the full end‑to‑end quality process, identifying issues early and ensuring robust quality at each stage. \n
- Conduct technical assessments of samples, provide corrective feedback, and ensure execution of production inspections. \n
- Analyze vendor performance, lead improvement plans, and support factory selection and onboarding. \n
- Manage and mentor a team of Quality Technicians, setting priorities and development goals. \n
- Travel regularly to factories for audits, reviews, and pre‑production meetings. \n
- Train vendors and internal partners on quality standards and ensure consistency across all suppliers. \n
- Partner with third‑party inspection agencies, the Compliance team, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and enhance standards. \n\n
- Experience: 15+ years of technical experience in quality roles with progressive responsibility. \n
- Industry: Strong expertise in Home Textiles; experience in Rugs is a plus. \n
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of fabrications (yarn quality, content, weaving, knitting, terry, tufting), industry testing standards, AQL systems, and working with agencies like BV and SGS. \n
- Regional Exposure: Experience working with vendors in the Delhi NCR region (Panipat preferred). \n
- Retail Background: Experience working with US-based retailers. \n
- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. \n
- Skills: Strong English communication, advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills, ability to review templates and analytical logic.
