Associate Director of Sales: D2C & AdTech Solutions

\nThe Opportunity
\nNitro Commerce is a Series A adtech startup founded in 2023 by the visionary team behind
\nWigzo (acquired by Shiprocket). Led by industry veteran Umair Mohammed, we are
\nredefining how D2C brands acquire and retain customers in a cookieless world.
\nWe are looking for a high-impact Sales Leader with a deep-rooted network in the D2C
\necosystem to drive revenue for our dual-engine stack: Nitro Ads, an intent-driven ad
\nnetwork , and Zodiac.ai, our Q-Commerce intelligence "Command Center".
\nWho You Are
\n%CF; The Networker: You possess a "gold-standard" network of Founders and CMOs
\nacross India's leading D2C verticals (Fashion, Beauty, Electronics, FMCG).
\n%CF; AdTech Expert: You have a sophisticated understanding of deterministic targeting,
\nfirst-party data activation, and the shift away from third-party cookies.
\n%CF; Solution-Led Seller: You don't just sell inventory; you sell ROAS-first advertising,
\nLower CAC, and improved LTV.
\n%CF; Q-Commerce Literate: You understand the data explosion on platforms like Zepto,
\nBlinkit, and Swiggy, and can articulate how to turn that "chaos into clarity".
\nKey Responsibilities
\n%CF; Revenue Leadership: Set and execute ambitious revenue targets, focusing on
\nhigh-growth D2C categories.
\n%CF; Strategic Hunting: Activate verified high-intent buyers on premium apps (CRED,
\nPhonePe, Truecaller, Zepto) to drive conversions directly on brand websites.
\n%CF; Q-Commerce Growth : Position Zodiac.ai to help brands solve critical challenges
\nlike stockouts, inefficient spend, and visibility gaps.
\n%CF; Relationship Management: Cultivate long-term partnerships with advertisers,
\nmoving beyond the Google/Meta duopoly.
\n%CF; Process Optimization: Refine scalable sales processes and oversee CRM
\neffectiveness to track progress and efficiency.
\nWhat You Must Bring
\n%CF; 6+ years of experience in Sales Management, Business Development, or Ad Sales
\n(Agency experience is a must).
\n%CF; Deep Technical Fluency: Familiarity with UID identification, omnichannel targeting,
\nand predictive bidding.
\n%CF; Proven Track Record: Experience delivering high ROAS across multiple verticals
\n(e.g., 20x in Electronics, 3.7x in Health & Wellness).
\n%CF; Leadership Stature: Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to nurture
\nhigh-potential team members.
