NDT Engineer

ØMajor Responsibilities

• Assist in Conducting NDT Tests as per the procedure laid down
\n
• Assist in Conducting Semi Destructive Test (SDT)
\n
• Assist in Conducting Load test on structural members/slab
\n
• Conducting the NDT tests with the help assistants
\n
• Knowledge of construction chemicals and strengthening materials.
\n
• Distress mapping in buildings.
\n
• Maintenance of standard reference materials and records.
\n
• Ensure implementation of QMS in the area of responsibility corporate standards (. Code of Ethics, BV Values, corporate identity, policies, procedures)
\n

Ø Roles & Responsibilities for HSE

\n
• Must comply the BV Cardinal Safety Rules in all situations.
\n
• To comply company HSE requirements . policies, Procedures, guidelines etc. and local legal requirements on HSE as applicable
\n
• To take care of own health and safety as well as colleagues and others.
\n
• Immediate reporting of any shortcomings on HSE . any incident, unsafe work practices / conditions to his/her immediate Line Managers.
\n
• Sharing opportunities for improvement on HSE aspects
\n
• Responsible for compliances of all applicable statutory laws and regulations as well as Group HSSE policies and procedures etc. in relation to Health, security, safety and environment and workmen employment.
\n
• Responsible for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing the HSSE Management System (in line with ISO14001:2015 & ISO 45001 standards) within his/ her Region/Location/Team
\n
• Responsible to take reasonable care on health and safety of their own, colleagues and others working surroundings.
\n
• Responsible to report promptly to immediate superior on any abnormalities and incidents found related to Health, Security, Safety and Environment
\n

ØQualification and Experience

\n

General:

\n
• / Diploma in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years of relevant experience in NDT
\n

Technical:

\n
• Knowledge of NDT / SDT & construction chemicals and strengthening materials will be preferable.
\n

ØSkills & Qualities:

\n
• Good communication skills verbal, writing and presentation.
\n
• Should have good analytical skills.
\n
• Ability to comprehend technical issues quickly.
\n
• Ability to work in a team.
\n
