Roles and Responsibilities - FATP Process

• Develop and establish FATP (Final Assembly, Test & Pack) processes for automotive products
\n
• Define SOPs, control plans, and work instructions as per automotive standards
\n
• Support NPI and ensure smooth product launch with PPAP requirements
\n
• Ensure full traceability (serial number, batch, date code) across assembly and testing
\n
• Implement and control end-of-line (EOL) testing and validation processes
\n
• Analyze test failures and perform root cause analysis using 8D/5 Why
\n
• Improve FPY, reduce defects, and ensure zero-defect mindset (Poka-Yoke)
\n
• Ensure compliance with automotive standards like IATF 16949 and customer requirements
\n
• Validate test equipment, fixtures, and poka-yoke systems for reliability
\n
• Coordinate with quality, design, and customer teams for issue resolution
\n
• Ensure proper handling of MSL, ESD, and critical components during assembly
\n
• Maintain detailed documentation (PFMEA, control plan, traceability records, reports)
