Job Description
As Team Leader - Land Information Services, you will oversee the delivery of accurate, timely and compliant land and property information services that support key Council functions and customer interactions. You will lead a specialist team, responsible for planning certificates, road naming, subdivision-related data, house numbering and Council’s Naming and Addressing Register.
\nThis role combines people leadership and technical expertise. You’ll work closely with systems, data and processes, ensuring service delivery is reliable today, while identifying opportunities to improve how services are delivered into the future. You will lead, coach and develop a technical team, building capability and confidence, while providing expert advice on land information systems, legislation and standards.
\nOver the next 18 months, you will play a key role in progressing improvements to land and property data, contributing to defining future approaches and supporting early implementation initiatives while maintaining day-to-day service performance.

\nYou are a confident, technically capable leader who can balance operational delivery with team leadership.
\nYou will bring strong experience in land, property or addressing information services and understand how data, systems and legislation interest to deliver reliable outcomes. You are comfortable working across stakeholders, supporting a technical team and contributing to service and process improvements.
\nYou must also meet the following criteria:
\n- Diploma or extensive experience in land information, property information, addressing information, information management or a related discipline. \n
- Proven experience leading specialised operational teams, including workforce capability, capacity, systems and processes. \n
- Strong technical knowledge of land and property information frameworks including cadastral information, lot and plan structures, property addressing and the relationship between spatial and property records. \n
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation, standards, policies and governance requirements relating to land information, property addressing and statutory functions. \n
- Experience maintaining land, property and addressing information across multiple systems, with a focus on accuracy and integrity \n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and support practical improvements \n
- Competitive salary from $94,319 - $109,614 a year plus 12% superannuation \n
- Temporary 18-month Contract \n
- 35-hour working week \n
- Enterprise Agreement salary increases in July 2026 \n
