We are currently seeking a Database Analyst / Systems Engineer to join our team in Noida, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).

The Database Analyst / Systems Engineer is responsible for ensuring efficient database operations, performance monitoring, and data integrity across enterprise systems. The role combines strong SQL expertise, analytical thinking, and cross‑team collaboration to support research initiatives, optimize data workflows, and drive data‑driven decision‑making.

Key Responsibilities

• Database Analysis & Optimization — Analyze database structures, performance, and utilization to ensure efficiency and reliability.

• SQL Development & Troubleshooting — Write, optimize, and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction and analysis.
\n
• Systems Engineering Support — Apply systems engineering experience (UPS background) to support infrastructure, disk management, and system performance.
\n
• Database Monitoring — Monitor database health, performance metrics, and resource utilization to prevent issues and ensure uptime.
\n
• Python Automation — Use Python for automation, data processing, and efficiency improvements.
\n
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration — Work with multiple UPS organizational groups to acquire data, validate requirements, and support research initiatives.
\n
• Data Acquisition & Research Support — Secure and analyze database information for large‑scale research projects focused on efficiency and data management solutions.
\n
• Team Building & Knowledge Sharing — Contribute to team development, mentoring, and collaborative problem‑solving.

Must‑Have Skills

• SQL Expertise — Strong command of SQL for querying, optimization, and data analysis.
\n
• Database Monitoring — Experience with tools and techniques for monitoring database performance and efficiency.
\n
• Python Coding — Ability to write Python scripts for automation and data processing.
\n
• Critical Thinking — Strong analytical mindset for diagnosing issues and designing data solutions.
\n
• Disk & System Management — Understanding of disk usage, storage optimization, and system performance.
\n
• Cross‑Team Communication — Ability to engage with multiple business units to gather requirements and share insights.
\n
• Data Management & Integrity — Experience ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data across systems.

Good‑to‑Have Skills

• ETL Processes — Experience with data pipelines and transformation workflows.

• Cloud Databases — Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP database services.
\n
• Reporting & Visualization — Ability to create dashboards or reports for stakeholders.

• Scripting & Automation — Additional scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash).

Experience

• 5–8 years of combined experience in systems engineering, database analysis, or data operations.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
