Business Analyst II, ISFX

They will have excellent oral and written communication skills, a focus to meet tight deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize work. Business Analyst will own the production and delivery of a suite of reports, dashboards and tools used by leaders to take decisions that impact customer of selling partner experience.\n

\nKey job responsibilities\n
\n%CF;Create, support and continuously improve reports and metrics that support the business operations\n
\n%CF;Convert data into digestible business intelligence and actionable information using tools like QuickSight/Tableau\n
\n%CF;Shape and deliver key metrics, reports, and indicators by which our business will assess its performance\n
\n%CF;Dive deep into large data sets to answer specific business questions using Excel, SQL and other data manipulation languages\n
\n%CF;Work directly with business teams to utilize metrics and analysis to determine improvement opportunities\n
\n%CF;Identify process improvement opportunities and drive automation to scale reporting solutions\n
\n%CF;Mentor junior analysts and provide guidance on best practices for data analysis and reporting\n
\n%CF;Independently manage end-to-end project delivery with minimal supervision\n

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

\n

- Experience in writing complex, highly-optimized SQL queries across large datasets\n
\n- Knowledge of SQL/Python/R, scripting, MS Excel, table joins, and aggregate analytical functions\n
\n- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities\n
\n- Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI or other BI packages\n
\n- Experience working independently with minimal supervision, or 4+ years of Amazon experience\n
\n- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights\n
\n- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics or a related field\n
\n- 4+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience\n
\n- Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to stakeholders and senior management\n
\n

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

\n

- Ph.D. in computer science, computer engineering, or related field, or experience with AWS services including S3, Redshift, Sagemaker, EMR, Kinesis, Lambda, and EC2\n
\n- Experience using very large datasets\n
\n- Experience working as a BIE in a technology company\n
\n- Experience researching about machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, data science\n
\n- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software\n
\n- Experience in designing and implementing custom reporting systems using automation tools\n
\n- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop junior team members\n
