About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in optimizing distribution networks and driving sales growth, particularly in the innerwear sector. The preferred candidate for the role of Deputy Manager (Sales & Distribution). The proposed candidate must have a deep understanding of the innerwear market and a strong ability to develop and implement strategic plans. Key Roles & Responsibilities:

a) Strategic Distribution Planning:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive distribution strategies to maximize market penetration and product availability.
  • \n
  • Analyze market trends, customer demands, and geographic factors to optimize distribution networks.
  • \n
  • Identify and establish new distribution channels and partnerships.
  • \n

b) Distribution Network Management:

  • Oversee and manage the entire distribution network, ensuring seamless and cost-effective product delivery.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure timely and efficient inventory management.
  • \n
  • Monitor and optimize warehouse operations, transportation, and distribution centers to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
  • \n

c) Inventory and Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Ensure accurate inventory levels and forecast demand to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
  • \n
  • Coordinate with production and procurement teams to align distribution schedules with manufacturing outputs.
  • \n
  • Implement best practices for inventory management, including tracking and reporting systems.

d) Vendor and Partner Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners.
  • \n
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with distribution partners to ensure favorable terms and conditions.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and audits of distribution partners to ensure compliance and efficiency.

e) Sales Management:

  • Lead the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets for the innerwear division.

  • Develop and implement sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, distributors, and retailers.

  • Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and effective territory management.

  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns and sales initiatives.

  • Ensure brand consistency and effective product positioning in the market.
