\n A Cloud Architect is responsible for designing, managing, and overseeing the cloud computing strategy of an organization. They ensure that the cloud infrastructure aligns with the organization s business and technical requirements. The role involves a combination of technical and strategic responsibilities, making it vital for cloud-based environments. The person MUST be hands-on on ALL required technologies.
\n Keywords: Azure/AWS Solution Architect, End-to-End Designing (IaaS and PaaS), Cloud Migration and modernization (Re-platform), DevOps IaC (Terraform, Azure DevOps/CFT), Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher etc.), FinOps.
\n Experience : 15+ years of experience

\n Certifications:
\n 1. AWS/Azure Administration certification is MUST.
\n 2. AWS/Azure Solution Architect certification is MUST. (AZ-104, AZ-305)
\n 3. AWS/Azure DevOps/Professional/Speciality Certification would be a plus.

\n Key Responsibilities:
\n Designing Cloud Solutions:
\n Develop cloud architecture solutions to meet business objectives.
\n Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud infrastructure.
\n Choose appropriate cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
\n Cloud Strategy and Planning:
\n Define the cloud strategy and roadmap.
\n Identify risks, opportunities, and cloud migration strategies.
\n Guide teams through cloud adoption and transformation processes.
\n Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS):
\n Design and implement solutions utilizing IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS based on requirements.
\n Manage integrations between on-premises systems and cloud services.
\n Security and Compliance:
\n Ensure that the cloud infrastructure is secure and compliant with industry standards.
\n Work with security teams to implement security best practices (e.g., encryption, IAM policies).

\n Work closely with DevOps, security, networking, and application teams to ensure smooth deployments and operations.
\n Communicate technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
\n Cost Management:
\n Monitor and optimize cloud resource usage to control costs.

\n Establish and enforce policies and governance frameworks for cloud usage.
\n Implement monitoring and logging solutions to track cloud performance and issues.
\n Stay Updated with Cloud Technologies:
\n Keep abreast of new cloud technologies, services, and tools.
\n Recommend new cloud technologies to improve the business environment.
