Design Engineer - BIW (UG NX)

Key Responsibilities

\n
• Design & development of Passenger Car BIW sheet metal components
\n
• Strong expertise in UG NX (NX Surfacing is mandatory)
\n
• In-depth knowledge of BIW structures and assemblies
\n
• Concept generation and feasibility evaluation of BIW components
\n
• Knowledge of joining techniques (spot welding, hemming, riveting, etc.)
\n
• Manufacturing knowledge of sheet metal components
\n
• Apply DFM (Design for Manufacturing) & DFA (Design for Assembly) principles
\n
• Cost optimization of components and assemblies
\n
• Knowledge of materials, GD&T, tolerance stack-up, and FMEA
\n
• Work experience in Teamcenter (mandatory)
\n
• Participate in design reviews and packaging reviews
\n
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and suppliers
\n
• Manage project timelines and deliverables
\n
