  • Conduct regular factory visits to audit production, vendor QA/QC processes, and participate in pre‑production meetings.
  • \n
  • Evaluate product samples throughout development, ensuring adherence to quality and technical standards.
  • \n
  • Log quality issues, generate reports, and escalate concerns to Quality Manager and Sourcing teams.
  • \n
  • Provide structured feedback to both internal teams and suppliers to resolve quality challenges.
  • \n
  • Analyze data to identify supplier trends and product‑specific insights that inform action plans.
  • \n
  • Support creation of product guidelines in collaboration with Quality Manager and Sourcing.
  • \n
  • Deliver technical guidance to sourcing and buying teams across multiple home product categories.
  • \n
  • Publish weekly/monthly dashboards summarizing vendor performance, product issues, and key insights.
  • \n

    The Successful Applicant

    \n

    \n
  • Experience: Minimum 10 years in Quality/Technical roles, preferably within home textiles; rug experience is an advantage.
  • \n
  • Industry Exposure: Strong background working with suppliers across India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, or Sri Lanka.
  • \n
  • Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with AQL methods, point‑count systems, and global testing standards.
  • \n
  • Tools: Must have advanced MS Excel capability (complex formulas, data structuring, template creation) and strong MS Office proficiency.
  • \n
  • Retail Experience: Prior work with US-based retailers preferred.
  • \n
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical qualification.
  • \n
  • Skills: Strong communication, English proficiency, relationship management, and ability to guide both internal and external partners.
