Senior Android Engineer - Pune, India

Key Responsibilities
\n - Develop, enhance, and maintain Android shopping applications using Kotlin
\n - Own features end-to-end, from technical design through development, testing, and release
\n - Deliver quality, scalable, and maintainable code aligned with WSI mobile standards
\n - Partner with Product, UX, QA, and backend teams to implement business requirements
\n - Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural and technical improvements
\n - Identify and resolve defects, performance issues, and production incidents
\n - Support ongoing optimization of app stability, performance, and customer experience

\n Required Qualifications
\n - 8+ years of Strong hands-on experience with Android development using Kotlin
\n - Solid knowledge of Android SDK, app lifecycle, and UI frameworks
\n - Experience delivering enhancements in large-scale consumer or retail applications
\n - Familiarity with MVVM / Clean Architecture principles
\n - Experience integrating with RESTful services
\n - Strong understanding of coding best practices, performance, and memory management
\n - Proficiency with Git and standard CI/CD workflows
\n - Ability to work independently and take ownership with minimal oversight

\n Preferred Qualifications
\n - Experience with Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation)
\n - Exposure to Jetpack Compose
\n - Experience with analytics, logging, and feature flag frameworks
\n - Background in e-commerce or omnichannel retail
