About the Role \n

We are looking for a skilled Palo Alto SME / Network Security Engineer with experience in SASE platforms, Prisma Access, and network security operations . The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing security policies, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring secure connectivity across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities \n

\n
• Manage and support Palo Alto Prisma Access and SASE environments .
\n
• Support GlobalProtect client rollout and integration with Active Directory and user policies .
\n
• Configure and manage security policies for SaaS applications, data protection, and access control .
\n
• Monitor and troubleshoot DNS security, SSL decryption, and policy enforcement issues .
\n
• Perform threat prevention configuration, monitoring, and security event analysis .
\n
• Manage VPN connectivity, private access tunnels, and hybrid cloud integrations (AWS, Azure, GCP) .
\n
• Troubleshoot complex network issues including DNS, routing, proxy, and connectivity problems .
\n
• Maintain configuration backups and conduct periodic security reviews .
\n
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for network security implementation and improvements .
\n
• Provide recommendations to improve network performance and security posture .
\n

Required Skills \n

\n
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, Layer 2 & Layer 3 concepts .
\n
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, Prisma Access, and SASE platforms .
\n
• Experience with DNS Security, URL Filtering, Threat Prevention, and ZTNA .
\n
• Knowledge of VPN, TCP/IP, HTTPS, and network troubleshooting .
\n
• Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and web proxy configurations .
\n
• Understanding of SD-WAN and cloud networking environments is a plus.
\n
• Experience in incident response and ticket management systems .
\n

Preferred Skills \n

\n
• Exposure to SSE solutions such as Zscaler or Netskope .
\n
• Knowledge of Prisma Browser, Explicit Proxy, and PAC file configuration .
\n
• Understanding of IT security compliance such as ISO 27001 .
\n

Qualifications \n

\n
• B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech or equivalent .
\n
• Relevant certifications such as:
\n
• Palo Alto: PCCSA / PCNSA / PCNSE
\n
• Cisco: CCNA / CCNP
\n
• Checkpoint: CCSA / CCSE
